This water-based, hydrating gel soothes and nourishes oily and blemish-prone skin while providing antioxidant protection. Lilac extract helps control sebum production while sodium hyaluronate pulls moisture into the skin to hydrate without clogging pores. This gel can be worn alone as a daily moisturizer for oily skin types or layered under your favorite moisturizer to lock in hydration.

This hydrating gel can be used under Clearderma or your favorite acne-safe moisturizer during the day. As it is water-based, Hydrabalance can be safely used under Acne Med or other benzoyl peroxide treatments in the evening.

If you are experiencing mild irritation with a new corrective, we recommend the "Hydrabalance Sandwich". Apply a layer of Hydrabalance (allow to dry) then follow with your corrective (allow to dry) and finish up with a final layer of Hydrabalance. This works wonderfully with acid serums, Acne Med, and retinols.
